THE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE

Adventure Travel Doesn’t Need To Be Out Of Reach…

Marketing is no longer about the stuff you make, but the stories you tell
— Seth Godin

The Concept

The average UK holiday costs £1000...

You read that correctly. The average British city break sets you back a THOUSAND POUNDS.

When it comes to adventure motorcycling, that number goes through the roof. Organised holidays can easily spiral to numbers unaffordable to the general public or enthusiastic biker.

But what if it didn’t have to be that way. What if we could have the adventure of a lifetime, something we’d never forget with the people we have the best relationships with and do it for less than a beer and some crisps in a London bar*.

Welcome to our budget adventure travel series.

The Outline

The core of the story is group of friends attempting to have an experience somewhere they’ll never forget, in a more wallet friendly way. We’ll be hunting to find travel to the cheapest, most exotic places we can, renting bikes locally and riding into the hills, mountains or deserts around the local area for 4-6 days.

The goal; to stay under £750.00, all in. Food, accommodation, flights, rental, beer. Everything.

But the money is not the story. The money is the motif. The story is friendship, experience and memories. It is about making the most of what you don’t have, with the people you care most about. It is every great movie or story of friendship.

*This is hyperbole.

Concept Video

Himalayan Adventure by Adam Riemann

Youtube content has entered a new phase. Five years ago it was dominated by vlog content, regular or daily stories. In 2023 that has shifted. Informative and Reality TV style content dominate the platform.

If it involves some kind of challenge the audience is gripped and this idea forms the basis behind our story. We have combined premise of doing something tricky, with taking new people into a wild environment. The edit will sit somewhere between a typical Brake Magazine travel film and this superb Adventure film by Adam Riemann.

The Characters

A crew of school friends who found common ground away from bikes.

Llewelyn Pavey

I’ve been pretty lucky. I grew up on motorcycles. I’m from a motorcycle riding family, with a Dad who has finished 8 Dakar’s. It’s a unique position and has given me a skillset that has enabled me to see a chunk of this planet from the back of a bike and film, photograph and write my experiences along the way.

Joseph Lewis

Myself and Joe have been best friends since Year 7. We’re part of a close knit group of school friends.

He’s a great traveller, smart, funny and inquisitive but only gained his foray into motorcycling on a BMW film project we produced in 2018. He is the perfect newbie in this world and the perfect inspiration in this story.

ALEX SMITH

Alex is a rare person. On top of being the funniest member of our friendship circle, he’s calm in a crisis, good at everything he does and a damn nice guy.
He’s also as close to a true motorcycle punter as it comes. He loves all things bikes & bicycles and is the perfect middle ground character to keep spirits high and difficult moments light.
